While the ADVASC payload is running on the International Space Station (ISS), WCSAR employees monitor its performance in a Payload Operations Center (POC), located at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. From this center, WCSAR can monitor sensor data and video sent from ADVASC, send commands to the payload to change the plant growth chamber set-points, and monitor space-to-ground communication.
