Astronaut Peggy Whitson Samples the ADVASC Atmosphere
Throughout the growth cycle of the soybean plants, samples are taken of the fluids and atmosphere within the plant chamber. In this image, Peggy Whitson takes the first sample of the gases inside the chamber, which will be returned to Earth for analysis.
