ADVASC is configured as two locker inserts. The top unit is the growth chamber, or ADVASC-GC. This is where the soybean plants are actually growing. The bottom unit is the support system, or ADVASC-SS. The ADVASC-SS contains the hardware needed to control the chamber environment.
