Once Columbia launched, WCSAR headed to the Mission Control Center at Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. From there, we were able to monitor what was happening onboard the shuttle and quickly respond to any questions the astronauts had. Other NASA, ESA and CSA support personnel can be seen in the background.
